For senior leaders and founders who have run out of people willing to tell them the truth.

Executive Coaching in London

You are not short of information. You are short of one person in your week who has no stake in the answer, no career riding on your reaction, and no reason to soften it. That is the whole job. I work with executives, founders and senior leaders across London on the decisions, relationships and habits that look obvious only from outside the room.

A conversation, not a pitch. If executive coaching is the wrong instrument, I will say so on the call.

WHO THIS IS FOR

Is This You?

Executive coaching is the wrong purchase more often than the industry admits, and bought at the wrong stage more often still. It tends to be the right one when at least one of these is already true of your week.

  • You have just stepped up, and the job you were promoted for is not the job you now have
  • You are a founder whose company has outgrown the behaviours that built it
  • Every meaningful decision still routes through you, and the business has quietly arranged itself around that
  • You have stopped hearing bad news early, and you suspect you know why
  • You are carrying someone on your leadership team and have been for longer than you would admit
  • The role is extracting a price at home, and you have started to notice it

If none of those land, you probably do not need me yet, and that is a perfectly good answer to arrive at.

The five domains an executive coach works on: decisions, presence, team, stakeholders and sustainability
WHAT WE WORK ON

The Five Domains of Executive Coaching

Senior work divides into five domains. Which one is loudest changes quarter by quarter, and at this level they refuse to stay separate for long.

01. Decisions

The handful of calls each year with incomplete information and no way back.

02. Presence

The distance between what you meant and what the room heard.

03. Your team

The people you are carrying, and what you do that stops others taking ownership.

04. Board and investors

Bringing bad news early, disagreeing well, and running meetings that decide something.

05. You

What the role is costing you, while it is still cheap enough to do something about.

How we start

The First Conversation

Before any engagement begins there is one conversation, and it costs you nothing. It is not a sales call with a discovery label on it.

You talk, I ask

We work on the thing actually bothering you rather than the tidy version of it. Most people arrive with the presenting problem and leave having named a different one.

We test whether coaching is the instrument

Some of what senior leaders bring me needs a sector mentor, a lawyer, a clinician or a fortnight off. I will tell you which, and on the call rather than after an invoice.

If it fits, we scope it

Length, rhythm, what we are working on, how we will know it is working, and what happens if it is not. All agreed in writing before we begin.

If a first conversation does not change how you see the problem, do not buy the second one.
Why work with me

Two decades of running things, not a training course

I came to coaching from operating rather than from a training course. Two decades building multiple businesses and a property portfolio, and a long stretch as somebody else’s client on the other side of the table. As a business coach in London I now work with a deliberately small number of senior clients.

Over the past decade I have put more than £50,000 into my own development, including Tony Robbins’s Business Mastery University, Date With Destiny, Life and Wealth Mastery and Unleash the Power Within, and earlier structured business coaching with ActionCOACH.

In the interest of full disclosure

Executive coaching in the UK is unregulated, and I hold no accreditation from either the EMCC or the ICF.

What I bring is two decades of having actually run things, formal training in leadership and coaching, and a practice deliberately kept small. Some excellent coaches are accredited and some are not. You should know which you are buying.

  • Diploma in Leadership and Management
  • Coaching and Mentoring Skills
  • NLP Foundation and Practitioner
  • Train the Trainer
Investment

What It Costs

I price by engagement rather than by the hour. A single session is easy to sell and easy to waste, and what actually changes anything is the sequence and what happens between the sessions.

A six-month executive engagement starts at £9,495

If that is out of range today, say so on the call and I will point you at something that is. Where the work is as much about the business as about the person, one of my structured programmes is often the better fit.

Honest disqualifiers

When You Do Not Need an Executive Coach

I would rather turn work away than take a fee for the wrong thing.

  • You need a specific skill. Financial modelling, employment law, a technical capability. Buy training or expertise instead.
  • Your organisation is the problem and will not change. Coaching cannot repair a structurally broken environment, and it is sometimes used to imply an individual is at fault when they are not.
  • You are being sent, not choosing. Coaching commissioned as a last step before an exit is a performance process wearing a friendlier coat.
  • You are experiencing genuine mental health difficulties. That deserves a qualified clinician, and I will help you find one.
  • Your problem is the business, not you. Start with business coaching in London instead.

One honest conversation about what is actually in front of you

Frequently Asked Questions

No charge, and no proposal at the end unless you ask for one. We work on the actual problem, and you leave with something usable whether or not you engage me.

Few enough that I can hold the detail of each one in my head between sessions. That is the real constraint on this kind of work, and it is why I sometimes ask people to wait.

We agree that at the start, in writing, including how you end it. Any coach who has not thought about how an engagement ends has an interest in it never ending.

Both. In person across London, online across the UK. The only thing I insist on is that the first conversation is not squeezed between two other meetings.

Individual work is the core of what I do, and it is what I am best at. If what you actually need is a team intervention, I will say so on the call and tell you what to look for, rather than stretching my own offer to cover it.
